BFA Bank developed a calendar and New Year's gifts dedicated to the 2012 Olympics in London.
Every year BFA gives special attention to New Year's gifts for customers seeking to create exclusive souvenirs with a particular concept connected with the key events of the coming year. On the eve of 2012 in anticipation of the Summer Olympics in London BFA Bank offered its customers gifts in British style - traditional English blankets, English Breakfast tea, handmade chocolates, Scottish liqueur and English gin, as well as a calendar dedicated to the Olympics.
The design of the calendar was developed in conjunction with ASGARD agency. The calendar is based on rare and vivid pictures of early and modern Olympics having artistic and historical value. Each page spread of the calendar shows one of the last Summer Olympics. Unique photos of athletes, which achievements marked these Olympic Games are supplemented by illustrations of the Olympic symbols and historical references. Calendars of each month are distinguished by and are made in the spirit of the image trends corresponding to the time and country of the depicted Olympics.
Black and white and color, static and dynamic, one person and many persons shots - the variety of visual imagery is selected so that the calendar remained interesting throughout the year, and the uniqueness of the material gave it worth of a short-run art album.
